Fever Playoff Game 1

Good Basketball game. My first WNBA game ever. Good hustle, good play execution, good officiating, high energy atmosphere, good low price ticket offer utilized, and good outcome. Noise intensity was too much over the course of 3 hours. If I go again, will bring ear plugs and wear them continuously. I chose seats in row 6 in the corner close by the goal, but ended up watching the backs of the visiting players who stood throughout most of the game. If my close up view is better seen up on the bigscreen, rather than the court, I may as well stand at home. Also during all of the breaks the security stood up to guard the court, which was safe for you, but then I cannot see the cute dancers perform. Good seats but cannot see the game...

Just not enjoyable.

First let me start by saying that I think Tamika ( not sure i spelled that right ) Catchings is an amazing athlete. The problem is her skill level was leaps and bounds ahead of the competition or anyone else on her team for that matter. Bottom line is the game just wasn't that exciting. Now the other problem is this game is clearly not marketed toward the average sports "fan". My wife and I, while both very open minded individuals felt a bit out of place if you know what I mean. With that said, if the skill level improves in this league and the WNBA can figure out how to get a broader fan base in the door, I could see myself coming back. As it is now I'll pass.

'BEST SEASON OPENER YET 2017'

I took my three Grand-Daughters to this game and we had seats closer that ever before. My youngest one had a visit from Boomer the Indiana Pacers Mascot at her school for a reading function just the day before. She received a book and some posters. One which had Boomer and Freddy Fever the Indiana Fever Mascot on it. I suggested to her to take it to the game with us, just in case Freddy would be there. She did just that and what became of her experience that day, she will never ever forget. The interaction with the mascot was Priceless. PS. We Need For More Fans To Come Out Though. Great Family Outing.
